I would like to thank every one of our OCMAFC members who participated by helping out or just being there. Your efforts continue to make our annual breakfast the wonderful event that it has become. Thanks to Don and Carolyn Ratzlaff for buying all the food and supplies. I would especially like to thank Glenn Johnson who lead the parking crew and made the car trophies one last time. Thanks to John Knox for furnishing a trailer to transport the pancake griddles. Thanks are due to Pieter Dwinger and Dorothy Knox and their kitchen crew. Somehow, as if by magic, all the equipment comes off the truck and trailers and before you know it coffee is brewing and pancake batter is being mixed. The kitchen crew was ready to serve breakfast by 7 AM, even before our cashiers were ready to sell tickets and a full hour before our advertised 8 AM start time. Thanks to Richard and Jeanne Parrish and their friends from Santa Rosa who set out all the raffle prizes and kept the raffle organized. Thanks to Jonathon Hughes for the great PA system and the backup generator. Thanks to Dan Adelmann and Lew Lewis who sent out the many requests for donations for the raffle. Thanks to all OCMAFC and others who donated prizes, gift certificates and cash for the raffle. Thanks to Don Miller who helped during the drawings making sure ticket numbers matched. Thanks to all who sold raffle tickets and breakfast tickets Sunday morning. Thanks to Tom Endy for his efforts on the bell housing, clutch, pressure plate and transmission auctioned off in the silent auction. Thanks to Larry Mortensen who donated the cluster gear to make the transmission restoration possible. Thanks to all who helped clean the park and 5 AM – yes – 5 AM and were helping again at 12:30 to clean up the kitchen and load the truck and trailers. Thanks to Wade Ratzlaff for being our official photographer. Last but not least, thanks to all the Model A hobbyists from our sister clubs who come out every year for the breakfast, to view the cars, to socialize and to participate in the raffle. You are why all of us work so hard to make this a fun Model A day.
